Aftermarket Repair Warranties or Extended Warranties

I've finally found an aftermarket warranty company I can recommend!

Briggs Financial Services, Inc. at (480) 421-1057
Ask for Kerry or Lisa or Brandon

Why you should contact my referrals for your
after market or extended warranty needs?

  • Because they have promised that in the event you have a dispute, they will allow the BBB to arbitrate the complaint and they will abide by the BBB's decision.

  • As I say in FAQ # 15, I personally recommend a Warranty package that says it covers everything from bumper to bumper  and then gives you a short list of things THAT ARE NOT COVERED. Let's call this the "exclusionary" policy.

  • You may also find another, less expensive, policy (not bumper to bumper coverage)  that says, "We only cover parts on the following list: .  .  .    " If that is your only choice, fine. Let's call that  a "listed covered items" policy.

  • Keep in mind, vehicles that are older than 7 Years old with over 80,000 miles may only qualify for the warranty policy that says, "We only cover parts on the following list:.....". Although these policies are not Bumper to Bumper (Exclusionary), they do cover all the major components and systems (including seals and gaskets), that you are worried about.

  • In my opinion, you should stay away from any aftermarket warranty company that deals with or is related to

    Wynn's

    or

    AutoServices

Historically, these two warranty companies refuse to pay shop labor rates, which forces the customer to pay the difference. They often insist on sending very cheap parts to the shop, causing unnecessary delays in the repair of your car. Warranties like these, cause their customer to pay some portion of their portion of the repair bill. They clearly do not have your best interests in front of theirs. Stay away from them.

Hello,

I have been looking for an extended car warranty and I have contacted the company you recommend.

But,  I was contacted by email (not from your companies) by a place called Continental Warranties in California.  These were the highest pressure people I have ever dealt with, and they get mad when you do not take their offer.  I keep getting email from them with new deals and discounts, and they keep calling.  So I am just sending this on to you for information.

Thanks for you great website and radio show.
