Oil
We
sell and install Valvoline Oil. We think
our reputation has a lot to do with what products we sell
and how long they last and well they perform. Obviously,
if we use a cheap oil, we run the risk of ruining an engine
and some of them today can cost up to $8,000 to replace.
So just like most business owners, we try to balance the
"risk" versus the "reward".
But in this case and many others, we are not willing to
make more money selling a cheap oil ‘cause the risk
of causing an engine to fail is too great.
The
best oil will have plenty of detergents, just enough anti-wear
agents, anti-foaming additives, a premium base stock and anti-corrosion
inhibitors. Other oils may be heavy in detergents, while
some are heavy in anti-wear additives. But it takes
a real brewmeister to make an oil that covers a wide range
of uses. Valvoline is race proven and we are convinced
they know how to build the best oil that will give you the
widest area of protection.
